Start with the low-voltage system
Our Porsche Taycan work includes 12 V battery recovery and ABS module adaptation. These are separate jobs: a functioning traction battery does not establish that the low-voltage supply is healthy. We investigate unstable power before drawing conclusions about module communication.
Dashboard messages, the discharge history and previous repairs help with initial assessment. Battery identification and inspection determine whether recovery is appropriate.
What ABS adaptation involves
Connecting a replacement module is only part of the job. Hardware compatibility, configuration and vehicle-specific procedures need checking. Completion means the relevant functional checks, not merely an empty fault list.
On a collision-damaged car, software work follows physical repairs. Clearing records cannot repair a braking system. The photograph shows a Taycan during workshop work; the exact scope is agreed for each vehicle.
