Establish the vehicle’s condition first
The photographs show a collision-damaged BMW X7 in our workshop. Electronic recovery starts with the damage history and the physical repairs already completed. We record faults and module availability before software changes.
Lost communication can originate in wiring, a connector or a power supply. A diagnostic message alone does not establish that a module needs replacing. Inspection and measurements determine the next step.
Collision records and final checks
Work on crash records belongs within the actual restoration of the affected systems. Erasing a fault does not repair a damaged safety component. The permitted procedure and any replacement requirement depend on the module.
We then check configuration, communication and recurring faults. Send the model, year, replaced parts and diagnostic report so we can distinguish a software task from work requiring the car in the workshop.
